Obama has a big week

As my title says, The Great Leader, The Messiah,

The Protector of the Poor, President Obama had

a memorable week.

Unemployment in the USA hit a 26-year high

level of 9.8%

~

The funny thing is that he earnestly told us that if his stimulus spending bill wasn't rushed through that unemployment might hit 8%.

~

GM (Obama Motors) officially lost the SATURN brand of cars this week as well, when the Penske Group didn't have enough faith in the economy to buy it from the struggling automaker.

A lot of soon to be unemployed coming from that one too.

Obama did meet for 25 minutes with his top commander on the ground in Afghanistan though, after it was revealed that he hadn't seen him in 3 months. (We've got troops over there it seems)

Another funny thing, is that when he was campaigning, Obama also earnestly explained that the fighting in IRAQ was taking our attention from the important war in the Middle East, Afghanistan, and that he would win in Afghanistan first.

And the biggest thing this week, was going to Copenhagen, a day after Michelle Obama and Oprah, to use his charm, and charisma to convince the IOC to have the 2016 Summer Olympics in Chicago.

The couldn't turn him down, after all, the world loves Obama, he's got that rock-star, celebrity status. He's acually kind of President of the world !

Until the first ballot, when they eliminated Chicago. I guess the goat-herder story doesn't interest them anymore, assuming it ever did.
