I just got around to checking out
James Knox's website -
`
He's running for HD47 this fall.
`
In case you don't know James,
here's the link;
`
`
James has some qualities I like.
`
He's Conservative, energetic, and
committed.
`
He ran for the City Council, and
he learned some lessons there, and
this seems a natural step for him.
`
I personally couldn't/wouldn't want to go to Helena every other year to serve in our citizen legislature, at least not at this point in my life, but I respect those that do.
`
You won't see endorsements for James coming from the GAZETTE editorial board - he's not liberal enough.
`
When he ran for City Council, the endorsement for his opponent was ready to print before he was even interviewed.
`
Go check him out - he'll be a good one.

If you want a guy who bounces checks to employees.. then yes
ReplyDeleteIt's not just his employees that Mr. Knox has trouble paying. I have friends who work in radio that have told me that he is notorious for having outstanding advertising bills with them. Realize that this is a man who smokes only the finest cigars(some of which are from Cuba -- slightly illegal), drinks the best scotch, and is constantly spending thousands of dollars upgrading his precious FJ Cruiser. This guy is just another selfish, small-time con artist who thinks that public office will give him a "respectable" image.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe I voted for this clown. Now he wants to prevent citizenship for babies born here, whose only crime is having parents who are in the country illegally.
ReplyDeleteHow is this a conservative value? We punish newborns now? No sir. I'll agree that illegal immigration is a huge and growing problem. I'll also concede that having and "anchor baby" is a huge incentive to enter the US illegally.
Call them what you wish, but when that child's first breath occurs in The Land of The Free, I call them a "citizen."
