I see that the Unions have came out
and picked the Democratic challenger
for Denny Rehberg, and it is none
other than Dennis McDonald.

To put it bluntly, McDonald is a poor candidate for them. They couldn't find anybody better than a rich, California lawyer, who put on a cowboy hat and is now a Melville 'rancher'?
Especially since The Great Leader, President Obama is systematically tearing his own party apart with his mounting failures and clumsy politics.
How do the Montana Dems react now?
`
Their first impulse (dumb) is to start the smearing, and mud-slinging. They hope they can diatract the voters from what a poor candidate McDonald really is.
`
They are now going after Randy Vogel, a longtime Rehberg supporter, who is now on Denny's staff. Here's the link;

`
His staffer, is accused of accidentally shooting a spike bull elk last fall.
`
No witnesses of course.
`
And they waited months to go after him, until the day after it was announced he was going to work for Rehberg full time.
`
Boy, what a key political issue!
`
Does it smell bad to anybody else?

One thing that hasn't come out is McDonald' dealings with unsavory characters to profit from the book deal with brokered with his mobster pal Jimmy the Weasel Fratianno: Do some searching around on Google, you you'll come across an interview with prolific porn producer Dion Giarusso on the porn-themed blog Luke is Back:

Giarusso's father Raymond evidently worked for a trucking company operated by Fratiano and is mentioned in "The Last Mafioso." He also evidently co-owned right to the book with Fratiano and McDonald. According to Dion Giarusso:
"My dad owned the rights to the book 'The Last Mafioso' with his lawyer Dennis McDonald. I shopped it around [about 20 years ago] to make a movie out of it. Nobody wanted to. They were scared of it. Too many people are still alive."
Luke: "If your dad owned the rights, doesn't that mean that you own the rights?"
Dion: "I don't know. I've never looked into it. Dennis McDonald controls it. Right before Jimmy Fratianno passed away, I had a threeway conversation with Jimmy and Dennis about me shopping the book in Hollywood. Jimmy gave me the right to shop it."
